Degustation

Went to one of those "big white plates with not much food" restaurants last night with Rita again.

I wouldn't say it was a disappointment, but it certainly didn't live up to my expectations given all the great things I've heard about it.

Just Thought Of a Great Scam

Last night, I went to my second free trial class at another kickboxing gym, Fit 2 Fitness. There are four or five more kickboxing gyms I haven't gone to yet. I figure if I keep on going to trial classes, I can work out for free for the rest of the month!

On my way back home, I caught a food vendor discreetly picking his nose. Beware of unsanitary conditions at these food carts found on almost every corner in Manhattan.

Medieval Festival

I'm not sure if turkeys are native to Renaissance England, but I had a turkey leg anyway.

O-M-G

Just got back from dinner with a lovely woman named Rita from a meet up group. Kobe beef spring rolls (delish), Chilean sea bass (I can make it better), and a sushi roll. I am stuffed!

BUT again, I forgot to take pictures so I am loading a picture of a street musician. There are a lot of these guys playing music down in the subways. This guy played such a moving rendition of "My Heart Will Go On" on his harmonica that I had to give him a dollar.

Shabu Shabu

Last night, I went to eat shabu shabu--YUM-MY!

Thin slices of beef with a bunch of vegetables, but I forgot to take a picture of it so I have to use a picture of Time Square instead.

Grocery Bags From Chinatown

The ubiquitous pink grocery bags are also used in the Chinatown in NY, but the hue is a little darker.
